Niche caterer Wilson Vale has won a contract to provide catering services to software developer Rare, part of Microsoft Game Studios.

The one-year contract will see the caterer provide a breakfast, lunch and deli services to around 200 employees at the Leicestershire site.

In addition, the £250k contract includes a Starbucks coffee concession within the restaurant.

Andrew Wilson, managing director at Wilson Vale, said: “Rare quietly visited one of clients where we have worked for seven years and were hugely impressed.

“I think it’s a clear indication of our ability to continually innovate and enhance performance and value to our clients over a sustained period of time. I am delighted that more and more of our new business now comes from referrals.”

Peter Cox, office & IT support manager at Rare, added:  “We looked carefully in the market for catering companies that closely match our values and philosophies and importantly we wanted to see them working in a long standing relationship.

“We are delighted to have selected Wilson Vale and they have made a massive impact in our restaurant with their fresh food approach.”
