Compass Group has made two new appointments to its UK and Ireland executive team. Oliver Cock (left) has been promoted to managing director, commercial. His previous role was director of group procurement. Cock, who has procurement experience with organisations including Diageo and the NHS, replaces Mike Walden. Graeme Tomkins (right) has succeeded Andy Harris in the role of sales director, after Harris was promoted to managing director of Restaurant Associates in March. Tomkins' most recent position was with ADNH Compass - the caterer's joint venture in the Middle East.
