
London hotels saw revenue per available room (revpar) grow by 30.9% in the week ending 23 December, according to figures from hotel benchmarking service The Bench.
Revpar increased to £75.68, up from £57.79 during the equivalent week of 2006.
Occupancy rose by 8.7 percentage points to 58.4% while average room rate increased by 11.5% to £129.48 compared with £116.12 in the corresponding week of 2006.

The Bench - which is partnered with US firm Smith Travel Research - provides online benchmarking data for in excess of 34,000 hotels in more than 400 markets.
