London hotels saw revenue per available room (revpar) grow by 4.1% in the week ending 27 January, according to figures from hotel benchmarking service The Bench.
Revpar climbed to £111.99, up from £107.57 during the equivalent week of 2007.
Occupancy fell by 1.2 percentage points to 79% while average room rate increased by 5.7% to £141.74 compared with £134.14 in the corresponding week of 2007.

The Bench - which is partnered with US firm Smith Travel Research - provides online benchmarking data for in excess of 34,000 hotels in more than 400 markets.
The online service allows users to track their performance in average room rate, occupancy and revpar in a variety of formats and to measure their daily performance against their competitors.
