Humanitarian charity Action Against Hunger has teamed up with 10 of the UK’s best known food critics for this year’s ‘Too Many Critics’ event.

The fundraiser, which will take place at London’s Royal Exchange on 19 October, will feature restaurant critics including The Observer’s Jay Rayner, The Evening Standard’s Charles Campion and The Guardian’s Matthew Fort.

Together they will prepare a five-course dinner, including a main course of British pork, with chefs such as Raymond Blanc, Shane Osborn and Fergus Henderson judging their efforts.

Too Many Critics forms part of Action Against Hunger’s annual campaign ‘Restaurants Against Hunger’, which runs throughout October.

Tickets to the event, which will be hosted by the BBC Radio’s Nigel Barden, are priced £130 and are available from Aimee Rowlands on 020 8293 6138 or a.rowlands@aahuk.org

Action Against Hunger works in more than 40 of the world’s poorest countries, with its vocation being to save the lives of starving children.
