The Mentors: Robin HutsonHotel guru and co founder of Hotel du Vin, Robin Hutson is nothing short of a legend in the industry. Having begun his career at Chewton Glen, Hutson left the iconic country house hotel to start up boutique hotel chain Hotel du Vin with Gerard Bassett. In 2004, they sold out to Malmaison. He then spent 13 years on the board of Soho House, resigning at the end of last year to pursue other opportunities. He has been named Caterer's Hotelier of the Year, as well as receiving two Cateys, for Best Newcomer and Hotel Group.
