Martin Wishart considering Glasgow for second Honours site

Michelin-starred chef Martin Wishart is looking to bring his brasserie the Honours to Glasgow.

Wishart, who opened the Honours in Edinburgh in July, told Scotland on Sunday: "I feel what we do currently at the Honours is something we can transfer over to Glasgow and perhaps other cities in Scotland and, with the right staff and management, create the same brand identity."

He added that he did not have a particular site in mind but would look at "the right building in the right location".

The Honours in Edinburgh's New Town offers mid-market café-style dining and received 1,600 bookings before opening.
