Arnold Fewell of myschoollunch.co.uk with his two awards

Myschoollunch.co.uk was the big winner at the first Caterersearch.com Web Awards, which took place at the The Imagination Gallery in London on Monday night.

Created by Arnold Fewell of school meals consultants AVF Marketing and website design agency InDzine, myschoollunch.co.uk took both the Innovation/Interactive Feature category sponsored by Nestlé Professional and the overall trophy of Website of the Year sponsored by the Hub.

One judge described myschoollunch.co.uk as “very much in tune with its target audience and it gave users plenty of reasons to revisit. I found it hard not to spend hours looking and learning on it.” Another judge described it as “fun, creative and appealing with a stimulating use of games and quizzes to help its three distinct audiences understand healthy food.”

Other big winners included, andrewfairlie.com, picking up the Restaurant Website - Independent award, with judges saying it was a "really beautiful site which depicted the brand”, while gauchorestaurants.co.uk won the award for Restaurant Website - Group.

In the hotel awards, Gleneagles.com took the Hotel Website - Independent category for a “really beautiful site which depicted the brand” and Milsomhotels.com received the award for Hotel Website - Group.
