Upmarket caterer Searcy’s will take over the catering operation at Mansion House in the City of London on 1 January.

The three-year deal at the Lord Mayor of London’s official residence is expected to turn over between £1.3m and £1.5m a year.

Searcy’s chief executive Richard Tear said: “This prestigious contract will cement our long association with the City and Corporation of London.”

The agreement will cover both high-profile events and daily business meetings, and routinely cater for 300 people.

Ten Searcy’s staff will work on the contract, which was previously run by Chester Boyd.
