Brewer and pub operator Fuller, Smith & Turner has recruited the former chief executive of Scottish & Newcastle as a non-executive director.
John Dunsmore, currently chief executive of the C&C Group, the manufacturer of Magners Irish cider, takes on his position at the London-based company today.
Michael Turner, chairman of Fuller’s, said: “We are delighted that John has agreed to join the board. There is a little doubt that 2009 will be one of the toughest years any of us has faced and having someone of John’s calibre on the team can only serve to strengthen our position.”
Dunsmore was chief executive at Scottish & Newcastle until its takeover by Heineken and Carlsberg last year.
