Aubaine, the French Provençal bistro, boulangerie and pâtisserie group, has opened a sixth outlet with screening room on Dover Street in London's Mayfair.

Open throughout the day and evening, the 80-seat Aubaine Mayfair will serve a seasonally-changing menu of Mediterranean dishes, as well as home-made breads and pastries to take away. The menu includes the likes of Ugie smoked salmon with beetroot, new potato and dill crème fraîche; octopus carpaccio with fennel, chilli and olive oil; and roast rack of lamb with Niçoise garnish

In the summer the restaurant will introduce an Aubaine To Go service, featuring signature treats packaged in chic boxes to take away at breakfast and afternoon tea.

Aubaine Mayfair is the first restaurant in the group to offer a private screening room, located on the lower ground floor, where French classic and cult films will be shown.

There is also a 15-seat bar and an atrium at the rear of the restaurant, which will open as a 25-seat covered terrace in the summer.

Owned by Hani Nakkash, Aubaine now operates four stand-alone restaurants in London, plus outlets in Selfridges' stores in the capital and Manchester.
