With health and safety regulations adding significantly to the cost of installing gas-powered cooking equipment, Lincat has added a powerful but compact four-hotplate, all-electric range to its 700 line of heavy-duty cooking equipment. The new OE7010, which costs about £2,762, marries four large high-speed 2.6kW hotplates with a large-capacity 4kW fan-assisted oven. The easy-to-clean hobs are fully pressed and sealed and each square hotplate is controlled by a six-position switch. The oven features a vitreous enamel interior with removable base, precise thermostatic control, five shelf positions with three shelves and a side-opening door. A splashback/plate shelf is offered as an optional extra.
