A compact, easy-to-use speciality coffee machine has been launched by Douwe Egberts for the smaller operator to make speedy cappuccinos, lattes and espressos from real milk, not powder, at the touch of a button. The front-loading Cafitesse 60 is suitable for small businesses, self-service operations, reception areas and meeting rooms thanks to the user-friendly LCD display that guides the operator through the steps. Able to churn out between 25 to 50 cups a day, the coffee machine can produce a 9oz cup of coffee in around nine seconds at a cost of about 20p per cappuccino. Cafitesse 60, which costs about £1,210, provides dispense statistics for the operator.
