Business caterer BaxterSmith has scooped four new three-year contracts over the past eight weeks, with a combined annual turnover of £2m.
The firm, which was created in May 2000 by William Baxter and Mike Smith, says it is on target to achieve an annual turnover in excess of £16m.
The two newest deals have both been won from Sodexho.
In April, BaxterSmith takes over the £300,000-a-year contract to feed 270 staff at the Medical Research Council in Regent's Park, London.
And later this month it will cater for 1,000 employees at pharmaceutical giant Novartis's headquarters in Horsham, West Sussex, in a contract that will turn over £700,000 a year.
This month BaxterSmith also took on a £600,000-a-year contract to feed 800 staff at the John Innes Research Centre in Norwich, which was previously held by Avenance.
In late December it started to cater for 200 staff at General Electric Power in Bracknell, Berkshire. The contract, worth £400,000 in annual turnover, was formerly held by Baxter & Platts.
