Norfolk-based Hanbury Foods, a small independent manufacturer of flavoured salts, flavoured sugars and cooking sauces, imports natural unbleached wet sea salt from Brittany. The salt is then blended with one of 19 herb and spice combinations, such as the new Good With Potato Herb Sea Salt with mint, chervil, chives, parsley and pepper, and Good With Vegetarian Food Herb Sea Salt with basil, garlic, sun-dried tomato and pepper. The salt can be added before, during or after cooking.

Prices: from £16.40 for 8 x 300g plastic tub to £22.80 for 6 x 1kg plastic tub (cases can be mixed; minimum order two cases).
