Just launched in the UK in January, Los Robles are two wines from the Los Robles co-operative in Chile's Curico Valley. Imported by Ehrmanns, the two wines - a

Carmenère and a Sauvignon Blanc - are both made by Australian winemaker Peter Bright using cool fermentation in stainless-steel tanks. The Carmenère, says Ehrmanns, offers a warm plum and damson flavour with a hint of tannin and a soft finish, while the Sauvignon is a typical New World style with herbaceous flavours and crisp acidity. There are 68 small and medium-sized growers in the co-operative, and as well as receiving a fair and stable price for their wine, Ehrmanns also makes a donation to the co-operative's social and ecological fund. The wine has an exclusive label for the on-trade.

Price: not more than £25 per case of 6 x 75cl
