Birmingham’s Heath Lodge hotel changes hands

A family from the south of England have snapped up the freehold on Birmingham’s Heath Lodge hotel off a guide price of £895,000.

The hotel was established in the city’s Marston Green area 35 years ago and is well-placed for Birmingham International Airport, the NEC and the city centre.

The detached property is arranged over three floors and includes 17 bedrooms, a 10-seat resident’s lounge with a feature fireplace, a 36-seat split-level dining room that doubles as a function room, and an en-suite owners’/managers’ bedroom on the ground floor.

It occupies a third of an acre of land and incorporates a front garden, a large rear garden, and a car park.
