Compass Group has extended its contract at Trent FM Arena Nottingham by five years, after just 18 months of its current deal.
Compass, which under its Leith’s brand looks after all public kiosks, café bars, hospitality suites and conference and banqueting at the home of the National Ice Centre, has been signed up until 2017.
This increases the total turnover of the contract at the 10,000-seat arena over its ten-year life from £11m to £22m.
Geoff Huckstep, chief executive of Trent FM Arena Nottingham, said: “We decided to extend Leith’s contract due to the extremely positive experience we have had over the past 18 months.
“The team mobilised on site very quickly and established a good working relationship with us. They have also improved the venue by redesigning the bars and changing the food on offer.”
