London hotels boosted revenue per available room (revpar) by 43% in the week ending 16 July, according to figures from hotel benchmarking service The Bench.
Revpar climbed to £132.79, up from £92.84 during the equivalent week last year when trade was hit by the terrorist bombings.
Occupancy increased by 13.6 percentage points to 93.1% and average room rate grew by 22.2% to £142.59, up from £116.70 in the corresponding week of 2005.
