GIS gas solution from Mechline

Caterguard GIS unitWith Corgi and the Health & Safety Executive advising against the use of  gas interlock systems (GIS) with override features, Mechline has come up  with two CaterGuard models that provide a similar cut-off safety function  while complying with the new guidance.

GIS systems have to be fitted alongside any new installation of  extraction/ventilation canopies, gas pipework runs, new cook lines, and  all category B appliances. Mechline's new MG02 and MG03 will cut off the  gas flow to kitchen appliances if they sense that an extraction fan has  failed or that the airflow has been significantly reduced.

The compact GIS units are easy to install and easy to use, with one-button  operation and their features fully explained on the fascia plate.
