Mo-El fly traps from Mechline

Insectivora fly zapper

The sticky-pad line of fly traps from Mo-El is now fully HACCP-compliant.  Three of the four models resemble light fittings and use a UV lamp to lure  insects to their doom on the removable aromatic adhesive boards, which  prevent the scattering of exploded insects that can occur with electric  grid zappers.

The adhesive range - which is available in stainless steel, aluminium or  plastic finishes - can cover an area as large as 425sq m.

Mo-El has also redesigned its silent, poison-free Insectivora fly zapper  for greater robustness. This system uses UV-A light to attract insects,  which are then sucked in by a vortex created by a soft-bladed fan, again  avoiding the risk of food contamination from body parts.
