Lynx 400 contact grill

There are six new contact/panini grills among Lincat's 36-strong range of  new-generation Lynx 400 electric counter-top cooking equipment.

Suitable for rapidly cooking steaks, burgers, chicken fillets, toasted  sandwiches and paninis, the newcomers offer rapid heat-up, good heat  retention and precise thermostatic control.

The units are available in either 2.25kW single-head or high-capacity  twin-head 2 x 2.25kW form, and each can be ordered with smooth, ribbed or  combination cooking plates. Hourly outputs of 8oz medium-cooked steaks  range from 36 for the compact LCG models to 72 for the twin-head LCG2  units.

Prices range from £343 for the single-head unit to £510 for the  twin-heads.

Lincat has also redesigned its popular 3kW Lynx 400 GG1 contact grill, now  available with smooth, ribbed or combination plates.

The plates are made  from cast aluminium with mica elements to provide even heat and precise  control, and are coated with PTFE-based non-stick coating.

It comes at the  lower price of £659.
