Staub mini cocotte from Signature

A miniature version of the Staub simmering cocotte is ideal for cooking tiny quails' eggs along with individual-portion dishes and desserts such as soufflés.

The enamelled cast-iron mini oval cocotte, 11cm in length, is stylish enough to be taken directly from the hob or oven to the table and, like its larger cousin, incorporates a vitreous ceramic base that can be used on any type of hob, including induction models.

The cocotte is self-basting thanks to the small spikes on the underside of the lid, where steam condenses into droplets that fall back into the food to concentrate the flavour.
