Four pies from Brakes

Stilton, mushroom and onion pieBrakes has launched four new varieties of pies, comprising cottage; steak and Merlot; salmon and smoked haddock; and Stilton, peppered mushroom and onion.

The cottage pie, which contains beef, carrots and peas in gravy topped with mashed potato, weighs 500g and comes in packs of six.

The steak and Merlot pie weighs 380g, has a fully baked pastry case filled with British steak and onions in Merlot gravy and is supplied in cases of six.

The salmon and smoked haddock pie comes with a creamy wine and parsley sauce in a pastry case topped with sliced sautéd potatoes and Cheddar cheese, weighs 450g and is available in packs of six.

The Stilton, peppered mushroom and onion pie comes in a cheesy peppered sauce in a fully baked suet pastry, weighs 340g and is supplied in packs of six.
