Kerry and Mandy Pinning, the new owners of the long-established Viva Latino restaurant in Sheffield, plan to rename the business The Italian Place.

The mid-terrace restaurant at London road sits on the busy B6388 on the south side of South Yorkshire city centre

It traded as La Bella Roma for more than 29 years before changing its name to Viva Latino in 1999 to incorporate a Mexican theme.

The property can seats 100 diners over two floors linked by a spiral staircase, while unused rooms above are suitable for use as accommodation.

Acting on behalf of Antonio Zsirai, the Leeds office of Christie + Co was seeking offers in the region of £60,000 for the leasehold, which runs until February 2031, with an annual rent of £12,000.
