Irish dairy co-operative Pritchitts has won platinum status in Northern Ireland's annual Environmental Benchmarking Survey for its environmental management, performance and assurance practices.
Platinum is the top accolade awarded in the scheme, which is conducted by Business in the Community’s Arena Network and supported by the Northern Ireland Environment Agency.
“The fact that we have received the top ranking reflects the efforts we have made in recent years to limit the impact our business has on the environment and we will continue to focus on this aspect of business going forward,” said Pritchitts head of marketing Simon Muschamp.
Pritchitts – a division of Lakeland Dairies – produces fresh and long-life dairy and dairy-related products at plants in both the north and the south of Ireland.
