Cheryl Baden-Powell, previously general manager at London's Soho Square branch of Eat, Kostas Kaloskamis, previously general manager at the King's Road branch of Coffee Republic in London, and Lawrence Keal, previously general manager at the Bank of England sports club in Roehampton, south-west London, have joined together to open Bean Juice in St Christopher's Place, London W1.

Terry White has been appointed executive chef at the Four Seasons Hotel Dublin, which opens in February 2001. He is currently executive chef for the Four Seasons Hotel Toronto, Canada.

Didier Philipot, previously head chef at Brockencote Hall Country House Hotel and Restaurant near Kidderminster, has opened his own 36-seat restaurant, La Toque d'Or, in Hockley, Birmingham.

Ryan Hotels has appointed David Bunworth business development director, effective from 8 January 2001. He is currently group marketing manager for East Telecom.

Anna Triffitt has been appointed area manager for BaxterSmith. She joins from Baxter & Platts, where she was group manager for the Glaxo Wellcome sites.

Graham Eveleigh has been appointed executive development chef with Holroyd Howe. He joins the company from Leith's Management, where he held the same position.

Charles Child has been appointed junior assistant manager at Marygreen Manor, Brentwood, Essex. He comes from Ghyll Manor hotel, Rusper, West Sussex, where he was trainee general manager.

Thomas Burton, previously general manager at the Holiday Inn, Ellesmere Port, Cheshire, has become general manager and proprietor of the Columbia hotel, Wellingborough, Northamptonshire.

Gary Klaner has been promoted to the position of executive chef at the Landmark hotel, London. He was previously restaurant chef at the Berkeley hotel, London.

Joep Peeters has been appointed general manager of the Forum Hotel London, Kensington. He joins from the Holiday Inn Amsterdam where he was general manager.

Lester Allen has been appointed executive chef for the 910 room at Forum Hotel London, Kensington. He joins from the Copthorne Effingham Park hotel in West Sussex.

Ian Samson has joined the Lygon Arms, Broadway, Worcestershire, as head chef, replacing Graeme Nesbitt (Caterer, 20 July, page 52). He was previously head chef at the Lowry Gallery in Manchester (Caterer, 13 July, page 52).

Gary Cook has been appointed head chef at Ston Easton Park, Bath. He moves from the Lygon Arms in Broadway. Also joining Ston Easton Park is Annette Hurst, who has been appointed assistant manager. This is her first position after graduating from Seale-Hayne University of Plymouth with a BSc Hons in international hospitality management with German.
