Baldwin Omega, a banqueting venue in Sheffield, has won the Loo of the Year Award in the restaurant category for its new toilets, designed by W.G. Sissons, which also supplied the cubicles, urinals and WCs.

The men's washroom features six stainless steel conical urinals, positioned within a private semi circle, edged with aluminium poles. There are also four outsized, round glass washbasins suspended on giant coiled stainless steel springs. Above the basins, stainless steel sensor taps are activated when hands are positioned in the bowl. As a finishing touch, it has a black and white chequered floor.
