Avenance pair to start own company

Two Avenance directors are setting up their own contract catering company.

Caroline Vale, managing director for the Midlands, the West and Wales, is leaving Avenance in February to join her husband, Andrew Wilson, former group sales and marketing director at Avenance, at their newly founded contract catering company Wilson Vale. Wilson left Avenance in October.

The company will focus on the business and industry and independent schools sector and will cover a wide area from Leeds to north London.

Vale and Wilson were operations director and sales director respectively at contract caterer Nelson Hind before it was bought by Avenance.
