Sodexho's dons deal
Sodexho Prestige has scooped the three-year contract to cater at Aberdeen Football Club from next month in a deal worth £1m in annual turnover. The company will look after match-day hospitality at the club's six suites which can cater for nearly 650 people, along with formal dinners, conferences, weddings, christenings, exhibitions and office seminars. It will also consult fans about what they want to eat from the kiosks.
Top safety award
Aramark's offshore business, which provides hotel services to the oil and gas industry, has secured a top safety award from the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents. Although the company has gained three gold awards in the past, this is the first time the offshore team has received the RoSPA award for the hotel and catering industry sector.

Kathy Budd has joined contract caterer Aramark as sales director for the South of England. Budd was previously regional managing director for corporate business in the South for Sodexho. She is now based in Thatcham, Berkshire, and reports to Wyn Roberts, Aramark's managing director for the South.
