Morrissey's Hurst House woos stars

Newspaper reports that singer Billy Bragg and Men Behaving Badly star Neil Morrissey are to open a hotel in North Wales were described as "somewhat off the mark" this week.

Morrissey is co-owner of the Hurst House hotel and restaurant near Caernarfon, Gwynedd, but his partner is Matt Roberts. Billy Bragg is merely one of the guests Morrissey and Roberts are hoping to attract to their "media-friendly" property.

Some £3.2m is being invested in the 16th-century building to install guest facilities, including a film editing and production studio and a health spa. It has 15 bedrooms and a 50-seat restaurant and is expected to be fully operational by October.
