Pied á Terre in Bloomsbury, London, has regained its two Michelin stars after losing one of them in 2000.

A spate of restaurant closures has meant that Michelin has had to remove stars from a number of high-profile restaurants, including La Tante Claire at the Berkeley hotel, London, John Burton-Race at the Landmark hotel, London, Blinis in Bath, and Cheznico in Mayfair, London.

Michelin's 2003 edition of the Red Guide Great Britain & Ireland is published today 17 January.
