Resort aims high with shooting school

Celtic Manor Resort in Newport, Wales, has launched Treetops Shooting School in partnership with a local shooting business.

The school offers clay pigeon shooting and has a lodge for up to 30 people.

Celtic Manor marketing director Simon Lee said core business would come from the corporate sector, but he was also expecting interest from private parties and individuals.

The 400-bedroom Celtic Manor has three championship golf courses and will host the Ryder Cup in 2010.
