First national deal for Holroyd Howe

Contract caterer Holroyd Howe has won its first national contract deal. The Amersham-based company will cater for 3,750 staff at 18 UK sites owned by utility company RWE Group.

Managing director Rick Holroyd said that the deal would be a springboard to new business from companies seeking a single provider for multiple sites. The company had been passed over previously because it held contracts only in London and the south of England.

"It's a tremendously important win for us as, it endorses our ability to work on a broader scale, changing our profile in the market," said Holroyd.

The annual contract turnover is £3.5m for three years. Holroyd Howe currently operates across 76 sites and employs 550.
