The Hotel & Catering International Management Association (HCIMA) has teamed up with recruitment and training consultancy Learnpurple to offer a series of intensive management courses.

Learnpurple research found more than 70% of managers hadn't received any management training since leaving full-time education.

The organisations are running a series of half-day workshops divided into six modules and three experience levels, the first of which launches on 6 September at the Guardian newspaper's London offices.
