Passing the barista(17 August 2004 17:27)Eight 16- to 25-year-olds graduated from the Gaggia Caffé Academie last week following a seven-day course learning about coffee making - specifically, how to make a range of coffees, and how to use and maintain coffee-making equipment. The Get Into Coffee programme is part of a Prince's Trust initiative to offer young people a chance to develop new skills that will help them find employment. The graduates have been offered job interviews with Carluccios, Pizza Express and Whittards of Chelsea.
