Strada takes its first steps outside London

Pizza and pasta chain Strada is expanding out of London for the first time.

The Signature Restaurants-owned chain is pushing out of the capital with a 3,000sq ft restaurant in the Oracle Centre in Reading. The new restaurant is expected to open late next month.

Property agents Shelley Sandzer acted for Strada and said the group was looking at more sites within an hour-and-a-half of the capital.

Now 23 restaurants strong, Strada is understood to be looking at potential sites in Cambridge, Oxford, Windsor and Guildford as well as considering Bristol and Bath.
