Scott Ford has been promoted to head of national accounts at Moat House Hotels. He moves up from the post of senior national account manager. Park Plaza Hotels Europe has appointed Justin Lanzkron as development manager of its development team. He moves from hospitality real estate consultants HVS International, where he was senior associate. David Cowdrey is the new general manager of the five-star, 247-bedroom Westbury hotel in Mayfair, London. He moves from the five-star, 64-bedroom Bentley hotel in London, where he was general manager. John Morrison has been made the new regional director of sales at City Inn Birmingham, Bristol and Glasgow. He joins the company from Malmaison, where he was regional sales director. Burkhard Wolter is the new resident manager at the five-star, 143-bedroom Almyra hotel in Paphos, Cyprus. He moves from the Mount Nelson hotel in Cape Town, South Africa, where he was executive assistant manager. Ken Flockhart has been made the new general manager of five-star, 218-bedroom Annabelle hotel in Paphos, Cyprus. Craig McKay is the new manager of the Oloroso restaurant in Edinburgh. He moves from the five-star Gleneagles hotel in Perthshire, Scotland, where he was head waiter. Georgia Hall is the new head of marketing at restaurant group Yo! Sushi. Most recently she set up the Zinc advertising agency for digital marketing group Havas Advertising. Contract cateringSodexho has appointed David Bailey as a managing director of its business and industry division. He will take responsibility for the company’s corporate accounts in the southern region. He was previously managing director of the Restaurant Associates division at Compass Group. Sue Plews has been appointed company dietitian at ISS Mediclean. She will work for the company’s catering service division at Kettering, Northamptonshire.
