Jeremy King and Chris Corbin's Wolseley (pictured) in Piccadilly was voted the London Restaurant of the Year in the Harpers & Moët Restaurant Awards this week (1

November).

Harpers & Queen readers named Heston Blumenthal's Fat Duck in Bray, Berkshire, as the best restaurant outside London - the only winner outside the capital.

Best newcomer was judged to be Yauatcha, the Soho restaurant opened by Hakkasan and Wagamama creator Alan Yau.

Rainer Becker scooped the Chef of the Year accolade for his Zuma and Roka restaurants, while the Tom Aikens restaurant in Chelsea won the new Vintage Year category for an exceptional 12 months.
