Eurest wins Audi deal
Eurest has won the contract to provide catering services at the newly opened Audi centre in Braehead, Glasgow. The one-year rolling contract will bring in an annual turnover of £300,000 and provide services that include a café-bistro and hospitality suite. Eurest, the business and industry division of Compass group, will have 13 staff at the site and serve about 140 employees plus visitors to the showroom.
Charlton House thinks ahead
Independent contract caterer Charlton House has announced a five-year financial plan. It aims to increase annual turnover from its current level of £44m to £80m by 2010. It also expects to see staff levels rise from 1,200 to 2,600 over the next five years.

Wilson Vale is looking good in Adams Childrenswear
Independent caterer Wilson Vale has won a three-year contract to provide catering services at the head office of retailer Adams Childrenswear in Nuneaton, Warwickshire. The contract, which was previously run by Avenance, will turn over £200,000 per year and takes the group's portfolio to 28. Five Wilson Vale staff will provide meals to 600 Adams employees.
Catermasters wins £250,000 deal with TNS...
Catermasters has been awarded a three-year contract at the head office of market information group TNS in London. The contract, which will turn over £250,000 per year, will see seven Catermasters staff serve 900 TNS employees. It was previously run by Yes Dining.
...a £200,000 contract with McCain Foods...
Catermasters has also won a three-year contract to provide catering services at McCain Foods in Wolverhampton. The contract will turn over £200,000 per year and cater for 400 McCain employees. Nine members of Catermasters staff will work on the contract, which starts in June this year and was previously run by New Build.
...a rolling contract with construction group Mowlem...
The independent contract caterer has also won a one-year rolling contract at the head office of construction and support services group Mowlem in Isleworth, Middlesex. The contract will turn over £160,000 per year and cater for 120 Mowlem staff. Four members of Catermasters staff will work on the contract, which was previously held by Connect Catering.
...and a three-year deal with NYK
Catermasters' fourth win is a three-year contract at the warehouse of logistics group NYK in Northampton. The contract will turn over £145,000 per year and cater for 500 NYK staff. Four members of Catermasters staff will work on the contract, which was previously held by JC's Catering.
Gardiner takes fine-dining job with Sodexho
Caroline Gardiner has been appointed managing director of Sodexho's fine-dining Directors Table division. She replaces Tim Cooper, who becomes business development director at the contract caterer's independent schools division in Swindon, Wiltshire. Gardiner will take up her post on 1 April.
