Thistle Hotels has appointed Dyan Stone group yield and strategy manager for their Thistle Hotels and Guoman brands. She was previously European regional revenue director for Le Meridien Hotels & Resorts.

Franck Hardy has been appointed food and beverage manager of the Sheraton Park Tower hotel, London. He previously managed the One-O-One restaurant at the hotel.

	Kaiser

Quintessential Hotels has appointed Yvonne Jackson general manager of the Park Royal hotel (formerly the Hanover International) in Warrington. She previously worked as a consultant with the company.

Claude Kaiser has been appointed general manager of Danat Hotels & Resorts' new Al Raha Beach Hotel, Abu Dhabi, UAE. He previously managed the Pucic Palace hotel, Dubrovnik, Croatia.

Also at the Al Raha Beach hotel, Christian Dangel has been appointed sales and marketing director. He was previously sales and marketing director at the Dolder Grand hotel, Zürich, Switzerland.

Shiva Sahadeva has been appointed banqueting manager of the Cliveden House Hotel, Taplow, Berkshire. He was previously banqueting and fine dining manager of Simpsons-in-the-Strand, London.

Von Essen Hotels has appointed Sophie McDowall business development manager at the soon-to-open Bath House Spa at New Park Manor, Hampshire. She previously ran her own media company in South Africa.

Hong Kong-based Langham Hotels International has appointed Alison Styles director of global sales. She was previously business development director Europe of hospitality services firm TSA Training Services, London.

Brewer and pub operator Greene King has appointed Jane Scriven to its board as a non-executive director. She is is currently managing director continental Europe for Geest plc.

VisitBritain has appointed Penelope, Viscountess Cobham deputy chairman of the board, of which she has been a member since 2003.
