North Wales marina to get five-star hotel

A new five-star hotel is to open on the North Wales coast.

The Quay Hotel and Spa, part of £46m marina development Deganwy Quay, is due for completion in June 2006.

Owned by Lifetime Projects, the 74-bedroom hotel is targeting both leisure and business travel.

The hotel will have 34 luxury rooms, 35 de luxe suites and five penthouses with private balconies.

The hotel will also have conferencing facilities for 120 and a spa open to both guests and locals.

Alan Waldron, managing director of Lifetime Projects, said: "Deganwy Quay is to bring a further 100 jobs to the area."
