The De Vere Group has appointed Nick Turner as general manager of the 127-bedroom Village Hotel & Leisure Club Newcastle. He moves from his position as director of sales, revenue management and distribution at the company.

The 348-bedroom Millennium Hotel London Mayfair has appointed Claudio Roscigno as business development manager. He joins the group from Italian hotel company Starhotels, where he was group international sales manager.

Corah Caples is the new general manager at the 90-bedroom Watford Moat House hotel, Hertfordshire. She moves from the Hotel L'Horizon in Jersey where she was deputy general manager.

Carvalho

Alexandre Carvalho has been appointed assistant manager at the Tutti Tuscan Grille restaurant in Braintree, Essex. He moves from the Chimichangas restaurant in Braintree, where he was general manager.

David Williams has been made sous chef at the Michelin-starred Chapter One restaurant in Kent. He moves from the Summer Lodge Hotel in Evershot, Dorset, where he was head chef.

Forman

The 22-bedroom Cotswold House hotel in Chipping Campden, Gloucestershire, has promoted Jamie Forman to head chef at the Hicks' Brasserie. He has been working at the hotel for two years as senior sous chef.

Russell Robertson is to take over as chef manager at the Linen Room restaurant in Dumfries, Scotland. He previously worked as sous chef at the Michelin-starred Plumed Horse restaurant in Crossmichael, Dumfries.

Saverio Buchicchio has been appointed restaurant manager at the Old Bell hotel in Malmesbury, Wiltshire. He moves from 947 AD restaurant at the Royalist hotel in Stow on the Wold, Gloucestershire.

Tom Rains is the new executive chef at the Old Bell hotel in Malmesbury, Wiltshire. He moves from Mosimann's in Belgravia, London, where he was senior sous chef.
