Brewers Fayre have been crowned sausage champions in this year’s Pub Restaurant Sausage of the Year Award 2005.

Judges at this year’s competition praised the flavour of the tasty bangers, and were impressed by their ability to retain their shape and size after cooking. 

A particular favourite was the sausage ‘n’ mash in a giant Yorkshire pud.

Gordon Wright, marketing manager at Brewers Fayre and Simon Blunt, development chef, were presented with the award, sponsored by the Meat and Livestock Commission.
