Former Punch Taverns property and strategy director and ex-InnSpired Group chief executive Peter Brook will join Pubfolio in October.

Brook will join the 800-strong Pubfolio as acquisitions director. Last year the company acquired 545 pubs from Punch for £162.5m and 157 pubs for £34m from Enterprise Inns.

Chief executive of Pubfolio, Richard Hatter, said: “Peter Brook’s experience and expertise will make a significant contribution to our plans to expand Pubfolio into a major pub group in the UK.”

Pubfolio is owned by entrepreneur Peter Shalson and its pubs are run by County Estate Management.

Innspired group was sold to Punch last year for £355m.
