New from TopPrep is the TopPrep Counter, a preparation station available in three sizes which can also be used to heat food or refrigerate it.

The company says the station’s refrigerating unit uses a unique bonded evaporator to chill food, which cools immediately, cutting down on electricity usage. It is available with either a hinged lid or a curved glass screen, said to make it suitable for back-bar or front-of-house use. The units use standard gastronorm containers, and incorporate holders for knives and cutting boards, and a pullout plating-up shelf. There is also an optional bolt-on rack for condiments and seasoning.
