Wolseley voted best in London

The Wolseley in Piccadilly has been voted London's best restaurant by readers of online activity guide Urbanpath.

More than 8,000 Londoners voted to create a top 100 list of the best places to eat, drink, shop and relax in the capital.

Chris Corbin and Jeremy Kings's lauded venture beat Ottolenghi in Islington and Le Gavroche in Mayfair into second and third place, respectively.

Jonathan Downey's Milk & Honey in Soho took the top bar award for Match Bar Group, with LoungeLover in Shoreditch and Dusk in Battersea filling second and third place.

Top gastro pub was the Easton in Clerkenwell owned by Andrew Veevers and Zim Sutton.
