The first Caterer Group Excellence in Catering Equipment & Supplies Awards were held last week at London's Landmark hotel.

The awards, sponsored by Brakes, recognised 13 outstanding products in categories including beverage making, crockery, cutlery and glassware, refrigeration, hygiene equipment and waste management.

The judging panel of food service professionals were looking for innovative design, cost-efficiency and ease of maintenance.
Falcon Foodservice Equipment's Infinity Fryer won the overall Gold Award. See page 52 for all the winners.
