The Bench: South-western hotel performance in October 2005

Hotels in the South West of England saw revenue per available room (revpar) rise marginally by 0.1% during the month of October.

Revpar increased to £58.16, up from £58.12 during October 2004, according to figures from hotel benchmarking service The Bench.

The increase came on the back of a 1.5% rise in average room rate to £77.12, up from £75.96 in October 2004. This compensated for a 1.1 percentage point decline in occupancy to 75.4%.
