Brighton’s Best Western Hotel has been sold for £3m to property investment company Bond Street Estates (BSE).

The 52-bedroom property on the Brighton seafront was bought as a going concern from Fine Southern Hotels.

BSE has agreed a lease with current operators Vienna Hotels to continue managing the hotel.

The deal is BSE’s second hotel in Brighton and marks the company’s re-entry into the hotel investment market.

BSE’s managing director Mark Wogman said: “We have previously had a few other hotels throughout the county. We have decided to re-enter the hotel market and the Belgrave and the Brighton are our first two ventures. There could be more.”

Vienna manages four hotels in Brighton and others in London and Birmingham. Property agents, Knight Frank handled the deal.
